What is the archive URL? - Blogger help, tips and hacks

What is the archive URL?

The Archive URL is used to indicate the address where your archives are located. In most cases, you will be able to leave this setting blank.

By default, Blogger determines the location of your archives as a combination of the Archive Path and Archive Filename settings. However, if your archives are stored in a directory (www/journal_archives/) parallel to the directory that stores the blog itself (www/journal/), you should indicate the explicit URL to this directory. For example, http://www.mysite.com/journal_archives/ .

Notes:The format for the Archive URL setting is a fully qualified URL with a trailing slash.
